WILLY WONKA CANDY COMPANY

Quaker Oats agreed to finance the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie released in 1971. As a movie tie-in, Quaker had their subsidiary, Breaker Confections, produce Willy Wonka Candy. The candy never made it to store shelves and in 1975 Breaker Confections was sold to Sunmark, Inc. Breaker produced the Fly Silver Lid (UFO Candy) in 1978 Fireflyer in 1979.

Breaker Confections was sold to Nestles in 1988 who, in 1993, renamed it Willy Wonka Candy Company.  Tart-n-Tinys Flying Saucers were made in 1995.

Willy Wonka also produced Bottle Caps in 1996.
