HUMPHREY FLYER MINI

Humphrey Corporation was formed in the mid-70s by Ken and Dave Humphrey. Their primary product was the Humphrey Flyer. They later added yo-yos to their business. Based on logo dating, it appears as if the 4" Minis were made sometime between 1986 and 1994. Any published information to confirm the dates has been elusive.

What happened to Humphrey Corporation?  In 1991 they were purchased by Mel Ellis, owner of Moulded Plastic Products founded in 1957. The new company was named HumphreyLine. It was purchased by PCNA in 2014. Humphrey Flyers are still US-made in several sizes, the smallest being 5" in diameter.
